Dolphins | Negotiating With Coleman - from www.KFFL.com
Wed, 17 Mar 2004 07:48:30 -0800 The Miami Herald reports the Miami Dolphins are interested in free agent OG Cosey Coleman (Buccaneers), but an MRI exam result showed damage in one of his knees. The Dolphins are taking the route they took with recently signed OT Damion McIntosh, who recently underwent ankle surgery. Miami wants to limit their liability by not offering Coleman a huge signing bonus, but Coleman is waiting for the Dolphins\' offer to improve, according to a source close the negotiations. |

We could use another guard...we only have 3 on the roster, but I don\'t think we should spend anything on Coleman. Unless we get him dirt cheap, we should just look to the later rounds of the draft, or to someone like Frank Middleton.

yeah I think we need another O-lineman... but I think that will be addressed in the draft though.

Tackle - sure, but guard. Can\'t every single OLman on our team play guard? (yes, that\'s an exaggeration, but don\'t we have a lot of utility men who can play inside?)

You know, if Sean Andrews fell all the way to #18, I\'d be sorely tempted to take him. We could use a quality tackle.

Spencer Folau, is our back up Tackle. He could even play guard. But they could use an upgrade or added insurance in case of injuries set it.
