Everyone wants to talk about how playing outdoors will be the Saints Achilles heel, well here is the latest report for Saturday.
Except for a few afternoon clouds, mainly sunny. Near record high temperatures. High 66F. Winds light and variable. Sounds like the Superdome to me. |

If I'm not mistaken, the Super Bowl was played outdoors.

Yes, but they all say..."the Saints have NEVER won a postseason game outdoors, oh yeah except the SB". Idiots!! I sure do hope our boys make em stick their foot in their mouths this Sat.

Just saw someone say it will be wet and muggy. In San Fran? Are you kidding me. Lived there for 3 years, never once did I say, Damn it's muggy out here. I am loving the disrespect. Can't wait to watch Brees and 'em flying high for 45!

We don't struggle outdoors, we struggle when we take inferior teams too lightly (Rams and Bucs this year, Cardinals and Seahawks last year).
We won't take the 49ers lightly. |

Also, wasn't Drew Brees a pretty darn good QB both in San Diego and at Purdue? Don't both of those teams play outdoors?
And Sproles was pretty darn good in San Diego as well. It's not like these guys are kept indoors and when they go outside it's like a whole new world for them... And don't forget, the bad field slows down pass rushers, too. Shorten the routes a little bit for some quick releases and hopefully we will be okay... |
