#1-Will Smith (Not because he's the worst.....but the most overpaid. Dude has not earned his money)

#2-Patrick Robinson (Haven't seen anything out of him to warrant a 1st rd. pick yet)

#3-Scott Shanle (Dude just isn't starter material)

#4-Sedrick Ellis (Another guy getting 1st round money that hasn't done squat!)

You free up the money from Smith, Robinson, & Ellis alone (all 1st rounders)......and you've got cash to work with to bring in some talent.

I havent posted here in over 2 years, but I still occasional come back here and check up on the Saints news (and coverage maps, thanks for whoever posts that!)

How can you guys not want Roman Harper gone, or at least changed to OLB? He is such a liability in coverage, and over 3/4ths the time was on their main (and when Crabtree was out) their only weapon?? He doesn't know how to form tackle, like going shoulder first into Jenkins on Vernons first TD, and he doesn't know how to cover guys. This was the same mistakes he did against the Packers, which lead to big plays as well. How is he staying?!

Uhmmmm......Jenkins is the one who knocked Harper off the tackle & Harper makes plays. Jenkins doesn't. Not to mention....Harper is probably the best tackler on the entire defense. He wraps up!

Your right, it was the other way around. I was thinking of Gores long run of the day when Harper just tried to shoulder drive Gore and missed.

All Harper can do is blitz, thats where the big plays come from. He is a liability in coverage, and I dont think I can honestly say Ive seen him form tackle that much at all from all the years he is here. I can think of 4 plays that were big plays because Harpers guy beats him, 2 for sure Vernon Davis plays (one being the one earlier. I doubt Roman would have caught up with Vernon anyways). We really need to move him to OLB so we can utilize him to blitz.

I agree. Plus, this is the age of the 6' 5" receiver. Harper looks like a kid trying to cover Calvin Johnson. Pretty soon, every team's gonna need at least 2 guys in the secondary over 6'3" with good hands. We're the kings of it, but that jumpball to the back of the endzone is becoming standard. And if the WR is taller (and doesn't completely suck), it's pretty much unstoppable.

I can't believe I'm even thinking tracy porter Aswell, pat Robinson has outplayed porter, he hasnt done anything since 2009, he has like two picks since 2009.
Pat Robinson got better as the season went along, you don't get rid of him

And last but not least - Greg Williams, sick and tired of the dumb play calling and the stupidity that he thinks the same gameplan over and and over will give results, It doesn't work that way

GW's head - blitz 6, blitz 7, blitz roman Harper, 8 in coverage, and it recurrs like that Over and over, way too predictable
