this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Losing to the "13-3" division winning 49ers doesn't sting nearly as much as losing to the 7-9 Seachickens did. Saints could/should have won both games. We all knew that the 49ers could not beat us if we didn't help them. ...

Losing to the "13-3" division winning 49ers doesn't sting nearly as much as losing to the 7-9 Seachickens did.
Saints could/should have won both games. We all knew that the 49ers could not beat us if we didn't help them. Only the Saints could lose a game after doing this to the 49ers: After the first quarter Sunday, the 49ers’ drives resulted in punt, punt, punt, fumble recovery, field goal (after going three yards), punt, punt, punt, field goal. This one hurts as much as the game the Saints were up like 35-3 on the 49ers and lost 35-38. |
