After the game I laid on my ladies chest and couldn't even open my eyes for hours. I fought in my sleep all night after I finally got to sleep. The next morning it hit me when I got up and gradually got better as different people told me throughout the day that my Saints played hard.(I was sporting my gear proudly)

Here's your bright side, The Dude.
Next year we will be working toward a home Superbowl Win. Never been done. Only 1 team in 32 can be the chosen one. That takes extraordinary circumstance. This year, the stars just did not line up. But there's always THIS NEXT YEAR!!! Alaska |

I'm very depressed here as well. It comes and goes. Knowing that we made the post-season for three straight years helps. That and knowing just how much the Falcons totally blow.
What hurts the most though is the knowledge that we should now be hosting the Giants in the NFC Championship game. We would have crushed them and then faced either the Ravens or the Patriots. I would have been totally confident of victory against either of those teams. Oh well. There's always next year. |

Great Post
Dude, you've just wrote your first Country Music song, and it is off the charts. Country, btw is not about sadness, but relatability. Think, "Take this job and shove it."
So you just nailed, I think, exactly how the rest of us feel. My back always hurts, Im always tired, Im always too busy... but when the Saints win, its all good. This particular loss sucks donkey balls, maybe the worst loss ever, because of what might have been. Nope, you're perfectly normal. One of the posters here has a signature that says "Our City, Our Saints, Our Soul." I live in a swamp in Texas and I share that same soul. I forget sometimes that I've never actually lived in New Orleans. |
