*side* Hope Green Bay loses Finely, Bush, and Greene.
I think Cinny, San Fran, Houston and Carolina all probably think they're one wide receiver from the Superbowl, so they'll be coming hard after Colston and Meechem (tough Finely, Branch, Burress, Cotchery, Edwards, and DeSean Jackson are also out there). I can stomach losing Meechem. I could even stomach losing both if we get Jackson to replace them, but I'd REALLY like Colston to be back in the Black and Gold. |

I thought Shaun Rogers signed a 1-year deal too?
Per Jeff Duncan... JeffDuncanTPJeff Duncan Saints' UFAs for 2012: Brees, Colston, Nicks, Meachem, Porter, Dunbar, Rogers, Franklin, McBride, Charleston, Roby, Torrence & Gilmore. |

We need Brees, Colston, Nicks, and Dunbar.
The rest can take the money we offer, stay with a winner, or pad their pockets. It's their choice. |

I could see porter, franklin, Washington, rogers, roby and even will smith getting released or restructured contracts.
Keep Dunbar, colston, daniels and the rest |

I'd be all for taking a shot on Sergio Kindle of the Ravens...depending on what we'd have to give up. I wanted to draft him anyway.
LB Dan Connor of the Panthers. S Gibril Wilson of the Bengals. LB Wesley Woodyard of the Broncos. WR Steve Smith of the Eagles. (could be cheap and productive coming off the injury) DT Trevor Laws of the Eagles. TE Jon Carlson of Seattle. DL Adam Carriker of St Louis. S Laron Landry of Washington (have to get a home state discount) Can't really afford to go after any household names. Have to use some strategery. |

Hmmm... Robert Mathis is a UFA. Guy averages 9 sacks per year. Any chance we make a run at this guy?

Money is going to be tight in Detroit. Make a run at Avril.
Loomis is great at structuring contracts to our favor. With a release here and there, some careful structuring and making use of the franchise tag, we should be able to land a big name player if we wanted to. He's a well know cap-o-logist... we're in good hands. |
