Good stuff, interested in what defensive free-agents will be available in the league also, especially at LB.

Well I wrote about this in the "search for a new D coordinator thread:"

DeAndre Levy #12

...to name a few.

Especially, ATL's Lofton would be an intriguing option to take a closer look at.

There is NO way Atlanta is not signing Lofton. Forget about it! He is just coming off his rookie contract and the kid has been real good.

Yeah, but it might not be up to them if he signs or not, because he is UFA not RFA, so he might not want to sign if they f.e. try to low-ball him with a weak offer.

But, I'm willing to correct my earlier statement: if he makes it to the FA market then he'd be a player that might be an option to take a closer look at.

Is he a fit in the 3-4? They may not wanna pay him as much as a 3-4 ILB versus a 4-3 MLB.

He's gonna get paid pretty well. If he's a bad fit in a 3-4, I'd be hesitant to sign him to a huge deal.

Nolan is going to keep the 4-3 in ATL, so that won't be the deciding factor.
