Feelings a week later
So we all wonder what could.. nay should have been... Well Mark Lorano's article in the Pic made me start thinking beyond last week
For me, I have never had this much fun in my life... Yes my heart is broken but I have been there through 1-15.. I have been there when the Failclown fans danced on our sorrow before we even knew what a Hail Mary was... I was there when the Yucs and later the Browns celebrated their first win EVER in our Dome.... I have been there when Bummer decides to not let the greatest long field goal kicker ever kick our way to our first WINNING season ever and by definition our first playoff game... I was there when those idiots put paper bags on their heads (set one on mini fire and wound up spending the night in Central Lock-up).. I was there when we lost 62-7 to the Failclowns in the FIRST game of the season (talk about dying in September)... Today I get to experience 13-3 seasons and have setting untold offensive weapons... Today my QB is on the cover of Sports Illustrated as the Man of the Year.... Today I get to get Crunk with all the youngens even though I didn't and don't quite know what the hell Crunk is... Today I laugh at the friggin Cowboys and Failclowns.... Today I walk out of the Dome after dominating yet another opponent and hardly feel elated... it is just what we don routinely... Today I have to budget my Playoff tickets that come in at Christmas time with the same regularity as all those sappy songs.... Today I wear my Saints gear wherever I travel and smile..... Yea I still hurt over last week.... but I will get over it... I'll get over it because I have Mickey Loomis as my GM.... and Sean Payton as my Head Coach... and I know they will not sit idly by but instead will address those areas that let us down last week... I'll get over it because Drew Brees wants another ring or two and does anyone doubt he will do whatever he can (and he is after all Super Man) to get them.... I'll get over it because we have the best clubhouse in the league and these guys will not let down (Drew won't let them)... I'll get over it because I am a member of the Who Dat Nation And when I do get over it I will realize how great things are.... |

im not over it. a college defense could have held the 9ers on that last drive for us to win. furthermore...the giants were scared to play us and even furthermore we would have beat the patriots silly in the superbowl. very hard thing to get over for me. then we could have sent GW packing and be in the same boat we are already in and be in great position for a repeat.

Sh**ing your pants? Do the board a favor and STFU, if you dont have anything positive to say. #2. Probably not, but maybe you can get a dog to stand still. #3. Sorry NGU didnt post any pictures to help your reading comprehension, but his post was actually about the positives, and why, even after a distasteful loss, we should still smile. #4. STFU. Here, maybe this will help you: |
