Well I wouldn't argue with most of those picks, and their first QB pick was for big Ben, who I think could've prospered 20+ years ago easily, and he would've enjoyed those relaxed rules of extracurricular conduct also.

The one pick I didn't agree at all was Tebow at 18 or 19 - I mean with the tackling/hitting rules of 20 years ago, he wouldn't survive a season with his option running.

The photos were really cool, and I'd check out the list if only because of those.

Slap in the face?

Id rather not have Drew in any list that contains Tebow or Rapistberger. I cant possibly thing of a list where being with those two denotes anything remarkable.

Now Marino could prosper now or then... Very surprised he is not on the list....

I think the list is more towards players now that could play back then... but if its 'ANY ERA" then they are totally over-looking today's era and the future!!!

In which case they better go back to the drawing board because that list is as gay as any power ranking I have ever seen.

This is just a list that basically glorifies violent/aggressive players. That is part of the game, and is certainly part of its history, but it is not the ONLY part of the game. Look at how many of the names on this list have off the field problems.

I wouldn't consider Drew to be part of this list and I kinda wouldn't want him to be. He is a cutting edge QB, and is actually AHEAD of the curve of the game -- for one example, look at how he has been at the forefront of the recent revolution at the position of SUPER atheletic tight end, by mentoring and feeding the ball to Jimmy Graham. Another place he's ahead of the curve, is the way that the Saints GUARDS are the most important linemen to his game, rather than the traditional left tackle being the most important lineman to protect a pocket passer. Also the speed at which he makes his reads, his decisions and throws, this is the future of the game we are seeing.

He's not some dinosaur from the past, and I think there will be more future QBs like him (small, agile, cerebral, leadership etc) in the future, whereas before, small guys were often overlooked or not given a chance. Also, Drew has come back from serious injury, largely through modern technological advances in sports medicine -- that alone makes him very much a "new breed" type of player for which there is not much of a counterpart in the game's past history. So don't worry about the past, Drew is the NOW and the future in my book.

Brees is tough but old school rules I don't know...they use to push the QB in the head and forget about the slide rule.

Speaking of toughness, Gerry Glandville once said Bobby Hebert was the toughest QB he ever saw and I believe him. He took some vicious hits and would get right back up everytime.

Yeah, I mean you don't see Brady on that list either and no one can argue that he doesn't belong to the top tier of NFL players.

But Payton Manning gets an honorable mention?

How often has he played hurt; Brees played half the year in 2010 with an MCL sprain!!!
