It is no secret that Nike Football will be the official uniform supplier of the NFL starting in the 2012 season — but there is no need to wait any longer. The official Nike invasion will begin this Sunday at the 2012 Pro Bowl. Players on the field will be testing out the Nike Vapor Jet gloves that you may have seen on college fields already.
The Nike Vapor Jet gloves are unbelievable and look amazing. They bring some extra POP to the NFL uniforms and are sure to catch the attention and praise of fans everywhere. Nike released the images of their uniforms on their official Facebook page today. If you want to see your team’s design for the new glove, continue after the jump. i really don't care about gloves. Ok so they have a fleur di lis on them, whats new. I wouldn't be surprised if the league puts velcro on them in the near future. The NFL is trying to make it easier and easier for these guys to be offensive teams. Pretty soon there won't even be a defense, it will turn into who scores last. They have already made it so defenses can't even tackle. Whats next.

It's funny you should say that, I saw a Green Bay player a couple of times do that for the camera at the Pro Bowl. Of coarse it was after a play, not during.

Holy SH&%! I can only imagine my redneck fishing buddies as I pull a sow bass out of the drink, and lift him up with my Saints gloves!!! That's awesome!!

I'm going to get a pair for bowhunting early season whitetails. I can see it now, first deer pic I have with them, I'm gonna put my hands together to make the fleur de lis!!!!

I'm reviving this thread because I want these damn gloves so bad for when I go to the Cowboys game in Dallas, and they will not start selling them!! Called Nike, no info. Called football fanatics, no info. Come on!!!!!!

I agree 626. I even said that during the chat on Sunday. There are TOO MANY dropped passes during the Saints games and around the league to be just a coincidence. These gloves are a real problem. No one in the NFL is going to say anything though. Too much money involved. So until the players peel these gloves off or go back to the Reebok gloves, we will continue to see more dropped passes than we can stand. JMO

Don't matter to me. If I see something saints I love, I really don't care about the price. To each his own. But I been lusting after these gloves since they announced them at the pro bowl.

Well, I made a pledge to myself not to spend one dime on NFL gear this year. So far I've stuck to that pledge. No hat, not shirt, no jersey, no gloves...nothing.

It's 'perchin' season and I'm looking for some gloves, but I'm with Hulka on not wanting to purchase any NFL gear at the moment ... Sports Authority has them with just the Nike Swoosh and not team affiliation for $45 ... I still think it would be cool every time I caught a fish to make that 'V' with my hands, line up the logo & flash it at my fishing partner ... it would be distracting & intimidating at the same time, :lol:.

Got em today but they are a a size too small. Need XLarge. Ordering again!! Lol

I just watched McGahee drop a
pass in the hands.

The gloves almost look TOO tacky. The balls at bouncing off of fingers instead
of sliding in to seat in the hands.


Dropsies = Glove problem

I'm not sure what any nfl players' drops have to do with these since I'm buying them as a fan who likes the logo on the hands, also the fact that i haven't seen many of them wear these specific gloves(nike does make regular receiver gloves without the logo) but the next time I suit up for the saints I'll be sure to switch gloves.
