Off-season blues. Although my wife might get me to finally start all those honeydo jobs that she worries about. Fishing should be good up here in a few weeks, so much for the honeydo jobs.

I liked the game. Eli had some brilliant pinpoint circus-like passing, for one. For two, there was some great defense, particularly by the Giants, but the Pats had some big hits. Brady had his moments too. I was entertained.
As far as the NFL, I thought the season was actually pretty good-- take out some of the stupidity of the new touching penalties, and the usual disaster that is Replay. As far as my Saints fandom, this was the most disappointing season in our history. 364 more days till super bowl 47 in the Dome. (whatever the roman digits) For now, Mardi Gras and crawfish. Yall come see me on your way down I-10. |

Unfortunately, living in NY it seems like the memory of this season is going to live for a while. Freaking giants got every break that game. As happy as I am that this season is finally over I'm going to be constantly reminded by giants fans all offseason of what could of been.![]()
Hopefully this mild winter in the Northeast continues and the golf courses open early this year... |

Not the same celebration and excitement on the field as there was when the Saints won. They just don't know how to celebrate.
