The game was close, so in that regard it was good...good for the NFL and for ratings...but I would hope for a better quality of play between the supposed two best teams in the league. Execution was poor, and I think that had more to do with it than either team playing exceptionally well on defense. Neither team was sharp. How many "12 men in the huddle" flags were thrown? Just stupid stuff like that.

And I'm no Madonna fan, but IMO that was the best halftime show in years. If they really wanna make me happy they can let Zooey perform the Anthem. :-)

I don't disagree ... my wife enjoyed it. We can't escape halftime show controversy, it seems, however.

It was a pretty good game as far as recent SB games are concerned, definitely better than last year's game, which was a total snooze fest.

But I was disappointed with the commercials... ;-)

I gotta tell you, sf, that I understand the fascination with Zooey...but in that video, not so much. Too much make-up...or something.

If she could find a way to recapture that look she had in "Almost Famous"...that's when I thought she looked like a living doll. Do you think she's too old to look like that again...I'm not sure.

Dude! Its a webcam. No editing. No special effects. No audio equipment. No nada. What makes Zooey so great is that she can go made up, plain, cutsie, professional, casual, retro, hip, hippie, she can do it all.

Zooey rocks it baby. Hollywood can make her as old or as young as it wants to I suppose, but her style off camera is the trick. Is she too old to play a 60's stewardess? I don't think so, but I'm not sure she'd do another role like that one. When I'm down "OC" way next month I'll ask her for you. LMAO

Danno, I can agree with just about everything you said but for Chris Collinsworth.

Al Michaels was the professional in the booth, but Collinsworth was doing his usual hating and bandwagon commentary during the game.

Bandwagon as in when the Giants were up, the Pats were a "troubled team," when the Pats were up Tom Caughlin and the Giants were weak.

I simply do not like the guy. Also, don't think his hate is isolated to the Saints, he's an equal opportunity hater and bandwagoneer.

Game was boring. The game just felt like it dragged on and on, too slow and pretty conservative. and Zooey is not that hot....lol
