The BPA would still probably be Vilma, so why waste the money on an over-rated pile of crap like Trotter?

I would\'ve liked to get Trotter if the REDSKINS would have cut him b/c of the new LB\'s they signed.
Oh well, we\'ll have to settle for a 2nd round LB I think. Do NOT be suprised to see Haslett trade up to pick DeAngelo Hall. He likes him so much that he lied about why he went to V-tech\'s Pro Day... He said they were interested in their Center... LoL. We are in dire need of a shutdown corner for the future and Hall may be the next Deion, yet Haslett flies over there to see their Center... lmao. [Edited on 3/27/2004 by pakowitz] |

Anyway, I really don\'t know which way the Saints will go. I expect them to trade up, but I couldn\'t guess if it\'s for a CB or a LB. Picking up Law and/or Trotter - don\'t want either of them unless they play for less than they make now. |

I wouldn\'t want Law at the price he wants to be paid. I wouldnt\' want Trotter either.
Maybe Haslett does want one of the LBs from Miami, he was an LB himself and I\'m sure he recognizes that they are special players. Miami has a history of turning out great linbackers. I don\'t know why Penn State is nicknamed \"Linebacker U.\" |

The deal with Law is that he was promised some things in his contract that now the Belichick is not honoring. If I am told I am going to get a specific bonous and junk and they don\'t give it to me then I\'d be a little irked that the team is going against what they promised me. He won\'t get the same money with another team. If they cut him he won\'t get 10 million this year to play else where. Its just the mere fact that they broke a promise.
