He talks like Colston is still playing for his rookie contract numbers.

He signed a 3 year $13 million contract in 2008.

He deserves a raise but its not like he's still playing for 7th rounder money.

Yeah, he was getting $4.7M for last season.

While Colston has the best hands on the team, the Saints will be fine.

Correction - Moore has the best hands out of the receiver corps.

While Colston has the edge in catching % with 75% as opposed to 71% for Moore, one must remember that Colston has the advantage of using his 6-4 height to catch balls that the DBs can't reach while Moore has no such advantage with his small demeanor, additionally Colston had a fumble and Moore did not.

And that's the thing, there just aren't that many 6'4 WRs period, never mind how consistent Colston has been either. They are hard to find. I'm still hoping that something can get done to keep him like trimming fat in other areas. With Colston and Graham the offense becomes virtually unstoppable with 5'10 DBs trying to cover them.

Also, a 6'4" WR coming over the middle and having his collarbone broken...only to return in two weeks!

so much for the "quiet storm". these situations are going to be interesting. brees can make anyone look good as long as they catch the ball. truthfully id like to see how he does on a team with a garbage qb. when was the last time you seen colston burning people? its not like he is uncoverable. if it came down to colston or vinnie jax for the same amt of money...id take vinnie jax. we still lack a wr that gets open on his own consistently.
