No more Michigan/Ohio State slow-footed defenders.
No more Tennessee Vol receivers. (though if Meachem moves into Colston's spot and exceeds, I'll gladly review my position) No more So-Cal short defensive tackles. |

Lewis would be a nice addition at the WLB, but I do think that there are other LB prospects who would better fit the Saints'/Spags' system of playing. Nevertheless, I'd be happy with his selection - he'll have to work on his tackling though. I'm not that high on Norman, but he would probably be the tallest CB in the Saints' roster, so I wouldn't be against the pick. But I'd like to see them getting after either Casey Hayward or DeQuan Menzie if they'll pick a CB this high. Tony Bergstrom would be a great pick up for the Saints at RT. Travian Robertson could be a good pick up, but I think he might still be available at lower rounds, 6th-7th. I like the pick of Jack Crawford, but I doubt he'll be available at his point in the draft. I'd at least exchange Crawford's pick with Robertson's pick. He'll be a work in progress for sure, but he might end up being a JP-P type of a player for the Saints under Spags' tutelage. I can't argue with Cattouse in the 6th round, since he would be great for depth as he can play both safety positions. Antoine McClain could be a replacement for Nicks if everything works out with his progression to the NFL level, but, in any case, he's a big pile of humanity who'll be difficult to push around. I'd be fine with the pick of Tank Carder with the last pick, but I would like for the Saints to also pick up a WR prospect at some point in the draft, and the 7th might be a good spot for a low-risk/high-reward type of a pick at that position. |

Yeah, just saw that... even Mayock said: "that is not a good number." How about stating the obvious. I think he was/is Mayock's highest projected LB or at least one of the highest. I mean Dontari Poe had almost the same time with 100 lbs worth of additional meat on him. |
