Part One:
I like Sean Spence, but I don't think he'll last that long in the 2nd. Jayron Hosley - Short, slow CB........no thank you. Part Two: Malik Jackson - "massive size"....."plays violent". I like it! Stephen Hill - This is one of my sleeper picks, but I don't see him making it to the 6th round. Of course.....I wanted Marques Colston in the 3rd of the '06 draft & we got him in the 7th, so what do I know. |

I don't know about Spence, his small stature is a concern, and it's a whole other thing to be a "sure tackler" at the college level then it's to perform like that at the NFL level. 5-11 is awfully small for an OLB, and even more so if Vilma will be starting at the MLB position.
Malik Jackson at DL sounds like an intriguing alternative, but I'd still prefer the Saints to try and get either Derek Wolfe or Akiem Hicks. Both have similar frames as Jackson, but probably more potential according to what I've read about them. Wolfe especially could be a really good fit for what Spags likes to do with the front four as he has been evaluated as a DE/DT hybrid. I think that the first couple of picks should be for targeting defensive personnel, but I know that the Saints tend to pick the BPA on their turn, so that in mind I'm hoping they won't leave too many specific gaps to fill after the FA period. |

Just want to show my displeasure with CSC by ignoring both of those links.
What a piece of crap site. |
