I have that feeling again
I am very pessimistic and am more open then anyone about the Saints when they underperform. I always expect the worst and always see areas we can improve even when we blow and opponent out. BUT. I felt it in 09' and I feel it again now. We are going back to the Super Bowl and we are doing it this year. This team will be unstoppable and they will want this bad. Loomis will bring anyone in he can and spare no expense to all but guarantee us a Super Bowl. We will get there and we will win. As well as we performed this year I never felt it. That is all.

I MUST see how we handle free agency before I start making any predictions...

Phew! I for one, knows what THe Dude is like when he is pessimistic in the chat room. My goodness, depression on the window ledge. So any news of a lesser pessimistic The Dude is like thinking there is gold at the end of the rainbow. Long may it last.

It's because the last time we brought in a highly touted DC and we were busy in FA, thats exactly what happened - we won it all
Spags will be more consistent than GW, i agree i've got a feeling this year will be very special |

Yeah the 49er loss was deflating, they hit PT out with a helmet to helmet straight away, then it's up to sproles and ivory, 9ers knew all ivory does is come in for run plays. The loss of PT early In the game had a massive affect on our offense play calling wise, you aren't going to beat many teams when you throw the ball 63 times Plus the defense played great all game and then couldn't stop Alex smith on two game deciding drives and literally screwed up |

I think GW became very predictable, Spags should bring more creativity and quicker adjustments. Also GW is a Gypsy the city was getting too hot for him. Brees isn't getting any younger now is the time for the next ring. I agree this whole things just feels right but it would be good to finish Drew's paperwork.

All this team need is how to crack the code for the Defense this season.. the Offense needs little tweaking, Drew can make anyone look like a star so im not too worried about who we lose or gain there.
