Are they going to stick with the method of picking the best player available or are they going to be more committed to picking players to fill certain positions and needs this time around?

Good question, FinSaint. But maybe I wasn't clear enough on my post.

I need questions you'd like asked to the coaches of players we actually draft. After we pick them, "...it is what is is."

I just want to know if there are any subjects or thoughts you'd like to see brought up in the interview.

They all pump sunshine into their players but I'd like to get an honest opinion to what they're lacking and how they can improve to be successful at the next level.

"How interested are you in being invested in the community?"

Volunteerism is a huge part of why our area survives.

Question: "How do you feel about being apart of a team that has the best fans in the NFL?"

Question: "What are some personal goals you have set for yourself inside and outside of football?"

You guys are on the ball...

How about, what is the one thing they did well in the former system they played in college that will most likely carry over with success to the Saints' system?

1. can you tackle?
2. can you beat out scott shanle?
3. can you penetrate an offensive line?
4. can you cover a tight end?

Quoted because a like simply wasn't enough.

"Can you put pressure on the opposing QB???" should be a top question as well.

As with other years, there are some Universities that will not grant an outside interview. The ones that have not allowed me an opportunity include, but are not limited to:

* USC
* "The U" (Miami)
* Alabama

Even so, most have been pretty cool.

How do you plan to handle the heat and humidity? Can you tackle well in the open field?

What is your number one priority as a rookie. Don't give me a generic answer please. Now go.

will you be making the question harder for wr in the interview?

lets just say we do not have the greatest track record in getting the smartest WR with our higher picks in the draft.

Just a reminder: I'll be interviewing the COACHES ...of the players we draft. It is highly unlikely that I'll get access to the actual player.

Again, what question(s) would you like asked that gives us some idea of the type of player that would be coming our way?
