The longest 41 yards

(Wide receiver Roy Williams is considered one of the top prospects in this year's NFL Draft. The University of Texas alum led the Longhorns with 70 receptions for 1,079 yards and nine touchdowns in 2003. NFL.com is pleased to bring you a weekly update straight from Williams as he approaches the draft. This week, Williams relives his Pro Day.)

AUSTIN, Texas (March 29, 2004) -- Larry Fitzgerald, Mike Williams, Roy Williams.

That's how the media is looking at us, the top three wide receivers in the draft. That's the order they think we're all going to go in. I guess that's based on stats from this past year. I don't understand why I'm the third receiver. If anything, they shouldn't put us in any order. I think all three of us are the same players. If you put us in a bowl and picked one, you'd end up with a great wide receiver. Our names are different, that's it. On draft day I don't think any teams can go wrong with any of us.

Anyway, all of this hype between the three of us really kicked into high gear following my Pro Day. It was my chance to give a lasting impression to about 100 NFL player personnel. I trained over two months for it in Arizona, far away from my friends and family. A lot of players get nervous when they walk into a room and see all those NFL logos, but it was a regular day for me. After all, I've played in front of 85,000 people before, so 100 scouts don't bother me.
