That's why it's called twitter. Teams should put clauses in players contract fining them for every stupid comment that's made. Give me a 5% cut and I'd be a millionaire.

Free agent LG Carl Nicks wrote on Twitter Wednesday that he does not want the Saints to franchise tag him.

He doesn't even know where it's coming from...but it's getting hot. When he takes it out of his pocket, more shows up, and it's hotter. He will never see this many zeros again when he signs to play the game. Brees and Nicks are ranked 1 and 2 respectively among available FAs. It's not too far fetched to think that someone may overpay Nicks after we overpay Brees. |
