I did. I mean, obviously he does what he does for money, I'm not THAT naive.

I just hoped he would be the type that would put his team, his city, and yes, his fans above the difference between $18 MILLION and $23 MILLION dollars/year; especially when the only real difference was in guaranteed money and the end-result of the contract would have been roughly the same amount of payoff to him, total.

Now we have to go through this sh*t again next year. Assuming he survives the beating he's probably going to get after EVERY team out there sends the wolves after him in retaliation for the whole "bounty" debacle, and our O-Line doesn't have Nicks to protect him.

Drew's is the only Jersey I currently own. Not sure I'll be able to wear it for a long, long time.
