PoSITIVE- Hall of Fame Game?
So Goodell, knowing that the bounty investiagtion had been going on for 3 years, still decides to put the Saints in the HOF game? Why? Just because of an O-lineman who hasn't been here in 12 years? It doesn't make sense.
Why reward a team with a black eye/ bad reputation with the national stage? Hopefully it means that this is all not as bad as we thought, and most of Goodell's wrath will fall on Williams, where it belongs. |

I guess 'cos they volunteered - my understanding is that there usually aren't that many teams stepping up to play in the game on their own volition.

yeah, I don't know how much of a "reward" you can make out of playing an EXTRA preseason game.

Maybe we volunteered to get some brownie points. Or Payton just wanted one more game to evaluate the talent.
