Just thought about something...wouldn't it make sense if Tom Condon were spreading around that Brees was "livid" about the tag in some sort of absurd PR posturing scheme? It seems to me like this guy will say and do anything (law and morality be damned) to get the contract he wants, which is probably why so many big players use him.

Brees wants a huge payday. Manning and Brady have a huge payday. Stafford will get a huge payday, what next year. Everybody wants a huge payday. Nothing would make these union guys happier than to get the cap raised so everybody can be making millions of dollars a year. Nobody plays football just to play football anymore. Those days are long gone. They've dream't since they were in pee wee football of being in the NFL and making the millions of dollars their "heros" on TV were making. Bottom line...I think Brees is still in contract negotiations with the league, not just the Saints. I hope I'm wrong and this gets settled in the next few days.
And on the subject of RG3, I think anyone who drafts him is in for major headaches in about two years. |

Don't blaim Brees if he is livid. He was frachised before and shown the door after he got injured. Very well could happen again to him. It is a business for these guys and they have to protect themselves. Hard to imagine on the other hand when 18 million isn't good enough, if that is in fact a true figure.

RJ3 will be another vick. Be solid but never have the talent to lift his team to a Championship. Perfect for the Browns who just want wins!
