Whatever the penalty is...

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; It will be more harsh than we deserve and far less than the haters want. Goodell will be doing everything in his power to make an example of us AND to throw a bone to the NFLPA on the law ...

It will be more harsh than we deserve and far less than the haters want.

Goodell will be doing everything in his power to make an example of us AND to throw a bone to the NFLPA on the law suits being brought by former players.

And no matter how harsh, the haters like Tom Jackson, Skip Bayless, and these idiots calling for Payton to be fired will not be satisfied. The NFL could disband the team and the haters would be mad that the entire Benson fortune had not been siezed and every Saints fan had not been horsewhipped.

They should take away two home games. That would hurt the city financially and make it tougher on the team schedule-wise

I recommend post Katrina 'home' to the Giants, and then off to London to 'host' the Chargers

Much about nothing other than GW getting fined. Benson will not let his toy be the only broken toy on the playard.
I hope he is a strong owner.
If lets say this was a situation with Kraft, Mara, or da-dum, Jerry jones, no way.
These guys ARE the NFL in a way. No one , but no one, especailly their employee, Goodell will tell them what to do in a way.

March 25, NFL Owners Meeting.

I think the Saints might forfeit a draft pick.
In my opinion, draft picks are just that and nothing more. No one team really knows players can do what until they get suited in that NFL uniform.
