I remember back in the '90s when Claude Lemieux (Avalanche) took a run at Kris Draper (RedWings) and broke his face on the boards, there damn sure was a 'bounty' on Lemieux's head and everyone knew it. It was collected by Darren McCarty (RedWings) and followed up for seasons to come.

Every team has an enforcer in hockey, it keeps the sport on a "gentlemanly" level, ... want to see more fights? Check into New Orleans Saints - Black and Gold - Black & Gold Hockey Group, we have our own "Fight, fight, fight" thread ... watch 'em & post 'em gents, gotta' do something in the offseason, . (and don't forget to 'subscribe' to the group!)

Listen to the announcers in these videos and decide if there's 'bounties' in hockey or not.
