Ok, but then we're holding you personally responsible if he goes south on the team, :lol:, but then again, you may be right. Having Randy Moss around might take some heat/attention off the organization.

It will definitely keep us in the spot light. Doesn't give me any warm fuzzies. We need to be under the radar at this point.

Look -- if Colston is going to be gone, which many including myself think he may well be, then I would say look at anybody to see if he can maybe bring something to the team. Let him work out, it's not like they've actually SIGNED him or anything. Besides, consider this: if you look at the history, Sean Payton historically has always had room for about one or two "head case" players on the roster every year. Joe Horn, Shockey, Hargrove, Reggie, Garrett Hartley.... We have had nut job guys on the team before, divas and head cases, but only 1 or 2 at a time, and Payton always finds ways to keep them in line and keep them productive. He simply doesn't let the head cases be difficult, run the locker room or be a cancer that destroys the team or anything. Does not happen. That was during the Haslett era, not this coach.

The circus is already in town..I want them to go away.

Yeah, I'm just joking with ya' ... he was an undeniably talented WR ... his attitude always worries me ... hopefully he's a little older/wiser now and like you said, the Saints locker room will go 'Lord of the Flies' on him if he gets out of line.

It would be nice having a healthy, well-adjusted Randy Moss for Brees to throw to, :lol:

Who says the Soap Opera industry is dying? we have found a way to give it new life in the form of the last few weeks......Failure to re-sign Drew....Bounty Gate and now Moss? I say pass, we need to start rebuilding the program and the image otherwise we are on the road back to bagsville. And I thought we sent them to Seattle, i could have sworn i saw one the other day.

I couldn't have said it better. It seems like this team is the perfect place for players to reform. I think Moss would have a record breaking season. Probably hear his name next to Lance Moore and Jimmy Graham alot this year. Future NFL broadcast: " Brees back at his own 20, looks left, looks right, pumps it toward the middle, fires it deep down the right side, hes got a man wide open, Its Randy Moss!!!! Nobody around to take him down!!! Touchdown!!!! Brees to Moss for 80 yards and a touchtown. Holycow this is going to be a great season!!!"

NFL.COM has its latest post on this saying Moss had an impressive work out. "He looked like the old Randy" Ran the 40 in the 4.39 to 4.4 range......Maybe all he needed was some time off to get his head right? Either way, like I said earlier, what better organization aside from the Patriots to help him reform. Payton has always had an excellent relationship with his players, and seems to have helped out several troubled players through there careers. Besides, the attitude of the restof the team is contagious. Im sure if you interviewed the players who had to be cut they wuld say they wish they could go back to the SAINTS locker room for one more season. Those guys all play for each other. I cant wait to hear that broadcast I posted earlier. WHO DAT!!! Welcome to Neworleans Randy!!! Who gives a crap what the rest of the league thinks about us. Lets just win!!!!!

I remember back in the '90s when Claude Lemieux (Avalanche) took a run at Kris Draper (RedWings) and broke his face on the boards, there damn sure was a 'bounty' on Lemieux's head and everyone knew it. It was collected by Darren McCarty (RedWings) and followed up for seasons to come.
