Wow. Sick burn. To be honest this gives me a better perspective on things. If this were the Failcons would I still be pissed about the media and blah blah blah hypocrisy blah blah blah Goodell...
I would probably jump right on the bandwagon of "What a bunch of clowns, throw the book at em Commish!" But not because of any moral outrage, but because I hate them and want them all to retire penniless, panhandling 5ers for handy-j's in Bankhead. Nearly all of the emotion of this issue has to do with competition and who will still be playing football in February of 2013, that's it. People need to call a spade a spade and stop pretending to be personally upset about the idea of the bounty system because you know good and god-damn well you aren't unless you are some sort of bleeding heard greenpeace tree-hugger, in which case you probably only get to watch football's World Championship once every four years. |
