At Least ONE Person at ESPN Has A Clue

The same NFL brass who will punish the Saints for their behavior will, in the next instance, happily market the violent hits that have fueled the NFL's popularity and turned it into a billion-dollar empire.

Some of the fans who are calling the Saints "dirty" are the same ones who replay vicious hits on YouTube or complain about referees' subjectivity in assessing penalties for such hits.

If you have chastised the NFL for being soft or pouted about defensive players being unable to graze the quarterback without warranting a personal foul, how can you even criticize the Saints with a straight face?

Wow. Sick burn. To be honest this gives me a better perspective on things. If this were the Failcons would I still be pissed about the media and blah blah blah hypocrisy blah blah blah Goodell...

I would probably jump right on the bandwagon of "What a bunch of clowns, throw the book at em Commish!" But not because of any moral outrage, but because I hate them and want them all to retire penniless, panhandling 5ers for handy-j's in Bankhead.
Nearly all of the emotion of this issue has to do with competition and who will still be playing football in February of 2013, that's it. People need to call a spade a spade and stop pretending to be personally upset about the idea of the bounty system because you know good and god-damn well you aren't unless you are some sort of bleeding heard greenpeace tree-hugger, in which case you probably only get to watch football's World Championship once every four years.

Spare the anger over a bounty system in the NFL - latimes.com
Unfortunately the ones wearing a glass slipper don't see it that way. Also why is the NFL selling big hit DVDs also. They will have to stop selling those videos right.
This has gone to far

It's like paying for a ticket to a boxing match and complaining about the violence the whole time.
