Finally somebody reputable gets a word indirectly from the Brees camp! To me "optimistic" is a long way from "livid" -- everybody just sit tight and remember, Kaare Johnson (the one who said Brees was "livid") also said a month ago that the Hornets sale to an out-of-town buyer was a "done deal" and look how that one turned out for him. Four days later the league president himself stood at a podium and said it was false, there was no done deal, no confirmed buyer, and so far it still hasn't happened. Some "done deal."
