The player is believed to be DT Norman Hand, who met with the team yesterday and passed his physical. Len Pasquarelli, of ESPN.com, reports the New York Giants have signed free agent DT Norman Hand (Seahawks) to a two-year contract, which includes a $340,000 signing bonus. Hand will earn base salaries of $660,000 (2004) and $900,000 (2005). He can earn a $100,000 workout bonus for 2005 and another $1 million in escalators based on playing time.
