Why does it have to be Homo...er I mean Romo? Besides...that's the last place I would want to see Brees. We would be forced to hear how wonderful they are on a daily basis. Getting naucious just thinking about it

While I agree that the Saints have the best chance at the SB this coming season with Brees as their QB, and that I wish nothing more than for him and the Saints' FO to reach an understanding that'll be beneficial and lucrative for both sides for years to come...
I'm with Papz on the fact that I'd be intrigued if there were enough variables placed on the opposite side of the trade negotiation table, and I certainly agree with Danno in that fan loyalty should first and foremost be to the team. Keeping Brees will probably wield the best short term results and success, but trading him might bring more of those to the Saints in the long term. Oh, and I completely agree with this: |

I would entertain the idea of two first round draft picks and a good...........nah I can't even think about losing Drew. Scratch that idea!

Brees goes to Dallas and Payton is right behind him. I think hes had the Cowboys HC job in his crosshairs for a while. You have lost your mind.

Trade Brees and the Saints will have about the next 10 seasons of sub 500 football ahead of them. Yep, back to the days of TV blackouts for home games, Super Dome crowds of 45k, a 7-9 season is a monumental achievement, a couple number 1 overall draft picks, I am like no thanks... lol
