I played golf on Coronado Island at the Naval base Sunday. A threesome, they hooked us up with a guy who happened to be a starter at another course whom I had never met before. Two holes in, I noticed his Saints ball marker on his hat. We get into talking and he says "You see what day did?"
Checking Saints and golf news 4 times every hour (once per hour while I'm sleeping), I say no and immediately check my phone. He says "Day traded the QB" I almost threw up. I looked and found nothing. Relieved, I turned my attention to the frustration I had with this man. I then made a bounty on his golf ball.


He ended up being one of the coolest old men I'd ever met.
