I'm sorry, but this franchise has been part of my soul and blood for 46 years of my life it feels as though you are attacking a part of my family. I understand your bitterness, but it really doesn't help to pile on when we really need to circle the wagons. It is us against the world.
Nothing personal. I mean that. Okay? |

Hey No Problem. I love the guy i believe he should get everything he wants. Drew has done everything you could ask someone to do. He lifted all of Louisana on in it's shoulders. Won a Super Bowl brought respect to the organiztaion. I understand I'm not mad I'm not bitter. I'm just having fun. He will resign I have no doubt.

Does Drew not accepting his offer have anything to do with cap space and making sure Nicks and Colston get signed? I wonder...

My guess is we have a few more players to restructure or flat out cut to fit Brees in. We may be trying to find cheaper alternatives at several positions in free agency before we cut someone we regret. I think if we sign a decent DT then Ellis may be gone. |

You know I'm starting to wonder if the Brees contract spat thing was bull**** proposed by retarded journalists. Brees could have just took the franchise tag to put him on ice, until the other two get deals worked out. Loomis could be working from a different cap figure than everyone else thinks because he knows something that we don't about Brees.

It's not just Brees that has to fit under the cap...
Nicks and Colston or Meachem... We have at least two linebackers and two defensive lineman to sign... And possibly another defensive back... |
