I guess another way to go would be to take a look at Eric Winston, the RT the Texans released on Monday. He failed their medical, but he underwent arthroscopic ankle surgery in February and according to his statements he should pass medicals in two weeks time. He hasn't missed a start in the past 5 seasons.
He was part of that strong O-line of the Texans, and he would be an upgrade over Strief (and Bushrod), at least in my opinion - Strief would be free to move to LG. http://www.nfl.com/player/ericwinston/2495986/profile |
