It's just stupid.
That's more than an entire team's annual salary - for one guy.
He could slip in the tub or eat a bad oyster.
Some bone head over zealous rookie gets camp happy and ruins everything.
What does that do to your locker room?

No one reciever gets Calvin Johnson syndrom.

"This looks like a deal that should make both sides happy."
Look into the owners eyes and ask him how happy he is about writing that check.
