I don't know why you think this, We got roasted in the secondary all year long. We are severly undersized and injury prone at the corner positions. I give Jabari Greer all the credit in the world for stepping up into the role he was asked to fill, but you cannot continue to put him out on elite WRs Robinson is getting better, and Patrick is still a work in progress.

maybe what he meant was that we won't be any worse without Porter- he epitomizes the undersized and injury players you are talking about

I just don't think the money is there this year to address CB. Of the 3 phases of our D, backfield is actually the strength (cough, cough)

addressing the Line and/or LBers should help the DBs as well; assuming Spagnoula finds ways to get consistent pressure without blitzing 80+ percent of the time

We got roasted mostly because we had no pass rush. Darrell Revis and Namdi Asomagha would have gotten toasted with our pathetic and predictable pass rush last year.

Our CBs are average size. 5'-11" is almost perfect for a CB.

The top 20 prospects at CB for the 2012 draft average 5'-10 1/2"

Really you can't put Greer on elite WR. Sorry but that's hilarious. Greer should have been a pro-bowler yet again but he got hosed. He had 18 PDs only 3 behind Revis and now we are saying he can't cover...

I guess everyone forgot how awful the pass rush was last year. Let me remind everyone the M.O of our D was to leave the DBs out to dry while sending 6-7 pass rushers and we still failed to get to the QB. You can't expect anyone to cover guys like Calvin Johnson for 5 secs man-on-man.

Our DBs are the strength of the Defense, if we had an average pass rush every DB we have would go to the pro-bowl.
