When Plan B(Ben Grubbs) is better than Plan A
Many thought that losing Carl Nicks would be a big blow to the team, and many still believe that there is going to be a drop off in talent level from Nicks to Grubbs; but I have my doubts. Grubbs has done rather well in pass protection and is probably a better run blocker than Nicks. Also Grubbs hasn't been playing with a line near as good as the Saints have had the last few years. In addition, there are very few QBs in the NFL that are as avoiding pressure by stepping up into the pocket as Drew Brees. This makes me think that it's quite possible that Grubbs may end up outplaying Nicks when stuck into our line, possibly doing just as well on pass protection, while affording us must better run blocking.

TC will show how well he fits in. I hope he's studying hard and learning the play book.
