I remember that one. Morten had this habit of keeping his head looking down for a couple secs after kicking off... he didn't see this dude coming at him at all.

I do as well, watching the kick off and this guy was flying up the field. Just like you said his head was down and WHAM! I remember flipping out over that hit. That brings back some memories

Anybody else remember when Tinker Owens accused an Oiler of trying to put his eye out? I think that he implied that Glanville had something to do with that incident too. Don't recall what year that was, but it was a looong time ago. So all this has been around for years, and come to think of it, I've hated Glanville for a lot of years!

Glanville was actually smart for trying to take out Anderson. I mean Anderson was the Saints best offensive weapon back in the day... lol

A bounty system is indeed lame. It clearly shows how much our society cherishes "winning". I wonder if the mafia members who own teams have ever given an order to kill someone? A more accurate question would be how many. :/ |
