we have marshes too...swamps and marshes are 2 different things.
and a pirogue and canoe have different bottoms...pirogues have a flat bottom so you can push through mud and muck

I got swamp people as my customers all the time - we could definitely do something...

Even got a couple of gator farms that have been on hard times could use some free "chicken" to feed their babies...

... yeah, I know, just throwing my best 'yankee' comparison out there ... I kinda' wish we had swamps up here ... is it safe to say a canoe would be a little more steady then a pirogue? When it comes to the 'paddle a canoe with a shell bucket, decoys & 100lb lab', I think I could do it, but maybe not in a pirogue, eh?

Still can't believe the two Swamp People episodes I saw where Troy went after a couple 13-footers in a pirogue, that type of boat just doesn't look steady enough ... can't wait for Sapper to get back from having his 'little Sapper' and start an outdoors group,
