Texans Possibly Trade Back w/ Saints
ESPN NFL Insider (and we know how reliable they are) is reporting that if the Texans don't land CB DeAngelo Hall at no. 10, they may trade back seven or eight spots to draft DT Marcus Tubbs, who they feel fit's Houston's 3-4 better at NT than Wilfork or Harris.
Denver wouldn't move all the way up to 10 to pick Steven Jackson because they're already where he's predicted to go. Hopefully, the Saints trade up to 10 and snatch Dunta Robinson! |

If we trade up to 10, it won\'t be Robinson.
It\'ll be Wilfork, Harris, Mike Williams or Roy Williams... I just don\'t think this staff is that much in love with CB\'s to pick one at 10. |

First off, DeAngelo Hall at 10 is a bit of a reach already. The Texans will get him if they want him.
Secondly, I think the chances of us trading up for a CB are slim to none. And the chances of us trading up for anything other than a LB are even slimmer. I think our coaching staff would take a top 10 talent if he fell to us, but I don\'t think they would trade up to get somebody that isn\'t a need player (unless someone like Gallery or Fitzgerald started to slip and that just isnt going to happen) Lastly, I think you mean Randy Starks and not Tubbs. Starks has played 3-4 before and is projected to go mid-first round. Tubbs is an early 2nd round prospect. |

I can\'t buy moving up in this draft at all... there is a lot of talent in this years draft. We just have to be patent and see who is there and how the draft develops before making moves. I can see them moving up to insure they get Vilma and that is about it.

Trading up is pointless...trading down makes way more sense...Picking up the extra picks and still being able to get quality players at LB, CB, and WR (and not in that particular order) and still being able to get another DT, S, or some more OL depth in this draft would make more sense to me...we are already without a 4th or 5th rounder so I am not for the Saints giving up even more picks.

My point was that the Saints are already down 2 picks, but with the extra in the second, it will allow us to possibly pick up 4 guys that can help us this year. If you think of trading up into the top 10, you are gonna have to give up 3 more picks. That leaves you with 2 or 3 picks to add help. The Saints arent likely to get immediate help with 6th and 7th rounders so we need to keep the picks we have.
