You deal with Unions much? Vilma maybe. Nobody else gets anything.

Well... if we take the league by storm and take it deep into the playoffs, would it really matter?

I think all of you guys in the "we'll be just fine" camp are SEVERELY underestimating Sean's value to this team...SEVERELY...
and I hope you're right and I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure I'm right... |

I don't look at it that way one bit and I'm in that "we'll be just fine camp". I'm just confident on how well run our organization is ran and the quality of coaches that we have on staff to help us make the transition. No doubt about it that losing Payton is going to hurt us... he's one of the brightest offensive minds in the game. But he put together a great staff to help him and they're still here... and I do expect Payton's suspension to be reduced.
We'll get by... just like we did last year with Carmichael and Brees running the show. It'll be harder, but we'll be fine. Keep the faith. |

I always read, but never post... This is the one question I had.
Does the team react by folding it up or do they put this on their shoulder pads and DARE the rest of the NFL to beat them. Would player suspensions on defense give the OC the chance to forget PUNTING and just go for it... Hold the ball and don't give the other team a chance. Defense would have to stand up, but would possibly limit their time on the field. Risks would be getting offensive players injured at a higher rate, but with the correct roster moves it could get interesting Anyone like to see 8,000 passing yards in a season... |
