Yes only lost 2 second rounders but that doesn't hurt we can make up for that with FA's.
What is going to hurt is the players we are going to lose on Defense when their suspensions come down. |

maybe, Goodell will have some sympathy when it comes to the players, who the **** am I kidding?
Will we even have the minimum amount of defensive players for the first game? Might have to play some iron-man football for the first few games... lol |

If the Saints get a lot of their top defensive players banned for a lot of the games! Has it ever happened that a team in the NFL has refused to play their games as a sort of protest?????

Do you guys think they're really going to come in and suspend the whole defense en masse? Combined with the suspension of the H/C, that would be a death sentence I find it hard to believe even a moron like Guck Foodell would be willing to hand down. The outcry would be enormous, not to mention the sure legal battles to follow.
Payton appeals, Benson litigates, NFLPA appeals all suspensions and the charade that the NFL actually cares about the welfare of it's athletes eventually works out into something more palatable for all parties. "The Saints go marching on" ... |

Even with a rag-tag defense we can beat people 44-37.
I could play corner for 2 weeks before I pulled up lame. It's way too soon with way too many parms to formulate an outcome. I'm still believing for a Lambardi gift dedicated to our master mind spectator/coach. |

The goal here is not to wipe out a revenue producing organization of the NFL.
For the sake of discussion, let's say they do it ... the Saints already have their offense in place, they scour the F/A market, CFL and other venues to find replacements, it is what it is, you don't roll over and die. Y'all been through Katrina, this ain't nothing but a walk in the park. Bet. Focus. Adapt. Overcome. Believe. The Saints go Marching on. |
