I have spoken out in defense of Roger Goodell many times in the past when many of you kept telling me he was destroying the game, had way too much power, dealt out inconsistent punishment toward players, etc, etc...

You were right and I was wrong. Oh boy was I wrong. I'm embarrassed that it took this ridiculous overly-severe decision to open my eyes about Roger Goodell. But they have certainly been opened.

Any ideas what my punishment should be? I've tried to be a good fan and good poster, so please don't Goodell me.

I did too. I thought that Goodell was a fine commissioner while many were telling me otherwise. I thought that those people were overreacting. Now I know what overreacting really is.
