this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Yes but didn't they say the players penalties were going to take "a while"? I bet they wait till after free agency. There is no way the NFL will let this situation benefit us in any way.......

Nobody has really mentioned Roman Harper, or maybe they mentioned him earlier and I missed it, but I am sure he is going to get something thrown at him. Based on what they did to Payton and Williams, I'm thinking he gets like a year and it gets talked down to 8 or 12.
Just like the fines on James Harrison, this is going to be ALL about singling out the players the NFL doesn't "like." Fujita for example, will get only a slap on the wrist, if anything, probably nothing done to him at all, because he is articulate and well-liked by the media etc. |
