It was obvious last year that when Vilma was out, Dunbar showed his most comfortable spot is the middle linebacker. In a small amount of playing time dunbar has made a hand full of plays when given the chance Alot of people might not remember this....In Dallas in 2010 season, marion barber had the edge on a 4th and 1, DE missed the tackle, vilma and shanle both missed the tackle and dunbar came from nowhere like a freight train and stopped barber for a loss, Our ball on our 40 yard line Then when he stopped the falcons ball carrier to force a 4th and 1 last year, which ofcourse smith went for and lost. I know its only 2 examples, but i'm rooting for him because he's a hard worker and played better than vilma did all season |

This is guy is Spags version of our Shanle. I'm excited at the prospect of not having to see the name Shanle on the back of #58 anymore.

We all knew that Spags would likely bring in some of his former players, who he trusts and knows understand his system.
I'm glad it's someone who wasn't over-payed or even overtly invested in, and that he is a linebacker - an area where the Saints need to get better. If you look at the dollars involved in this signing, you shouldn't be overly excited, because that reaction should be reserved for the truly big signings - something the Saints just can't afford at present time. I'm just happy that some players still want to sign with the Saints after all that has gone down with the bounty crap, and that shows me that Chamberlain must be a smart individual. |

Don't think you will see any defensive player put a hit like that on anyone this year!
They will be too worried about being put under investigation and having their money clip checked for extra dollars!!! LOL! GEAUX SAINTS!!!!! |
