I kinda wish they would. The punishments are set. They don't HAVE to even speak. I wouldn't. And if I did I'd say something like, "You know, we deserve to be reprimanded because we're in charge, but the punishment doesn't fit the crime. There is plenty of precedent that one, violations that were far more damaging to the integrity of the game were punished in a far less-severe manner and two there is plenty of evidence to support that we were not doing anything unique. We are happy to discuss this and offer evidence to any media person who attends our press conference in September. We plan to appeal to whatever extent we have available."
Why not?
