We need someone with a stoic demeanor who commands respect and is a proven leader. And yes, things went well when SP was out but let's not kid ourselves, he was still very much involved in big decesions. Saints needs someone to call those shots just so long as they know they are staying in a rental so no painting the walls or doing any crazy landscaping.
