I brought this up in a topic and everyone called me an idiot. I too believe he will be nothing more than a career backup or an \'ok\' starter. He\'s just a great athlete that won\'t translate to the pro level.
That\'s an interesting opinion rAge, considering most scouts have a completely OPPOSITE opinion. The knock on Lehmen is that he isn\'t a great athlete.

Oklahoma\'s Teddy Lehman certainly looks and sounds the part. His gruff voice accentuated by a Midwest twang, he comes across as though he\'s ready to parlay his Butkus Award as the nation\'s top college linebacker last season into a starting job in the NFL and eventual stardom.

There\'s just one problem. Scouts and assistant coaches around the league don\'t think he\'s a particularly good athlete. Like another former Sooner and Butkus winner, Rocky Calmus, Lehman is considered a bit slow, not quite so fluid.

I just dont like him. I can think of about 10 LB\'s i would rather draft this year over Lehman. But the fact that his voice has \"some twang\" might change my mind.
Yeah right.

michael johnson, dan o\'brien, carl lewis... all great athletes, but i\'d bet the shirt off my back that they wouldn\'t make an nfl team in their best day. Lehman is a football player, and if that\'s all the athletic ability that god gave him, then i think he\'s using it pretty well

I dont want him on the Saints team. Cut and dry, he would ruin my day if the Saints drafted him. I dont care if they would draft him in the 6th round, i dont like him. He may be a solid pro, but i wouldnt bet on it. Surely wouldnt bet the shirt off my back.

Actually, i borrowed this shirt from Frank.

like him or not, he\'s a winner, and this team needs to draft some winners to get that losing air about them out of the clubhouse

If you want a winner, then you should be looking at DJ Williams. He has only lost 4 games in High School and College COMBINE.

DJ would be a great pick up and yes, he\'s a winner... but Vilma is the man we need. start from the inside out, or from the middle to the outside with LB.

Yes, Vilma is the guy I think we should take as well. But because of that, I bet we don\'t...
