A real draft dream
I dont see why anyone wants Lehman on our team...I dont think the guy will turn out to be a good pro. Something about Oklahoma LB\'s that i just dont trust.
I brought this up in a topic and everyone called me an idiot. I too believe he will be nothing more than a career backup or an \'ok\' starter. He\'s just a great athlete that won\'t translate to the pro level.
That\'s an interesting opinion rAge, considering most scouts have a completely OPPOSITE opinion. The knock on Lehmen is that he isn\'t a great athlete.
Oklahoma\'s Teddy Lehman certainly looks and sounds the part. His gruff voice accentuated by a Midwest twang, he comes across as though he\'s ready to parlay his Butkus Award as the nation\'s top college linebacker last season into a starting job in the NFL and eventual stardom.
There\'s just one problem. Scouts and assistant coaches around the league don\'t think he\'s a particularly good athlete. Like another former Sooner and Butkus winner, Rocky Calmus, Lehman is considered a bit slow, not quite so fluid.
