The resolution drafted by the local lawmaker contains some of the following points according to HomuaToday.com:
“The New Orleans Saints have produced countless exciting and magical moments.”
“The taxpayers of Louisiana have invested millions of dollars into the success of the Saints organization by supporting stadium improvements, practice facilities, and other incentives.”
“The sanctions faced by the team will likely have a negative economic impact across the Crescent City and the state as a whole.”
Payton is the “first coach ever suspended by the NFL for any reason.”

I don't have a problem with an elected official stating his displeasure...
I DO have a problem with an elected official who's more concerned with something like this Bountygate issue instead of working on the government to keep it smaller and to spend no more than its reasonable revenues...
