So will Sean Payton appeal the year-long suspension levied by Commissioner Goodell? It seams that if he could at the very least draw out the process, he might be able to be involved in the depleted upcoming draft and the days immediately after the draft.
My thought is that he is too stubborn and proud (arrogant?) to appeal. He didn't go out of his way to apologize to the league and the commissioner in his recent blanket apology. Maybe Goodell will say "April Fools!" on Sunday and let Payton coach the 2012 season. ![]() |

[QUOTE=iceshack149;393676]So will Sean Payton appeal the year-long suspension levied by Commissioner Goodell? It seams that if he could at the very least draw out the process, he might be able to be involved in the depleted upcoming draft and the days immediately after the draft.
QUOTE] I was thinking he might draw it out also, BUT, I wouldn't put it put past Goddell to say that he was lenient contingent on us not appealing. Appealling could also affect our player suspensions. If I was Payton I would wait until the last possible second and then appeal. I mean, how much worse could Goddell make it for us? |
